Behind the scenes

"Only with quiet and stillness can we sense what is real"

I came to the campo to confront myself, away from the noise of the world, and, being apart, to see the madness within - within me and the world. Then, through continuing contemplation and intention, release these follies within me and be the change I wish to see in the world.

When I create a piece of art it is with intention. Intention to preserve and increase wild areas, to revel in clean oceans full of life, to delight at wild cats - a keystone species - on the plains and in the jungles. To support corridors of wild across the globe, only for the wild. This is where our true wealth lies, “In wildness is the preservation of the world” -Thoreau.

Do you love wild nature?

Can you help with it's conservation?
Then please donate to The David Shepherd TigerTime Campaign. They put money into teaching people how to live with wild nature - very important when you live in tiger territory!
It's only through schemes like this that tigers and other apex predators will survive. And if they survive and thrive you can bet there'll be a thriving eco system around them which ultimately helps us all.
