Linnet Sunrise
At the same time as the warbler was with us (see Warbler Sunrise) a flock of about 30 linnets also chose our site to spend a few weeks. They flew from tree to tree, chirping happily, living their life in happy groups - a joy to watch and have as neighbours. This fat lil’ chappy, with his delicate pink tum sat right at the top of a tree, singing his heart out.
Watercolour paints onto tea bag paper, a hot sunrise in early summer, it’s going to be another scorching day. These two birds live together in peace in the wild and would make a great pair for your wall.
While it's touring this artwork isn't for sale, maybe I’ll put it up for auction or make it available to buy at a later date. As a subscriber you’ll be the first to hear if and when this happens.
Until then, as a special for subscribers only, you get to put a reserve on it. Simply email me on the link below and I'll add you to the list.
There’s no pressure to buy, it just means you’ve told me you’re interested so you get an option to buy. The higher you are on the list the more likely you are to win the option, so don’t leave it too long if you really like it! Mixed Media on Fabric
