Pollinators for Tea
Celebrates all the tiny insects who pollinate our flowers and so put food on our tables. Bees are the most efficient pollinators, but even unexpected insects pollinate too, some that we even villify like the wasp. And others so specialised that without them some of our favourite flowers would die out - for example the range of specialist bees that pollinate wild orchids. These tiny insects need to be respected and protected for the important part they play in our lives and in the planets eco systems. How could we pollinate all our food crops without them? And how could we live in a world without flowers and these tiny, teeny workhorses?
