An innvocation of hot summer nights and the dried seed heads of wild flowers. Eryngium campestre start out a fresh, acid green in the Spring and slowly turn into golden stars for the summer. Their soft spring seedheads turn into dried summer spikes, be careful of your fingers!
Pen and ink and watercolours on tea bag paper. Scraps of intense blue velvet against luminous white fabric reflect the contrasts of a moonlit sky. The frayed uneven edges of fabric reflect nature - where there are no straight lines. Slow stitching reminds us to slow down and take a closer look.
